Dr Don Sinnott is an expert in defence electronic systems. He has extensive experience in research and development with an emphasis on applied electromagnetics, including radio and radar systems, antennas and radio propagation, signal processing and global navigation satellite systems. Dr Sinnott has held many senior positions within the DSTO including Chief of a number of DSTO research divisions, first Assistant Secretary Science Policy and CEO for the CRC for Sensor Signal and Information Processing.

He has been engaged as an independent electronic systems consultant with the DSTO, the University of Adelaide, CSIRO, Department of Transport and Regional Services and defence industry.
